OTC Products
Over the counter pills and powders have been used for weight loss for many years, mostly with mediocre success. OTC weight loss products are often being recalled, and even though the lap band is a surgery, its safety is more complete.
The effectiveness of the lap band over OTC products is also far greater. When you have lap band surgery, you are virtually assured of losing quite a lot of weight. With over the counter products, it’s anyone’s guess and if you do lose some the results will likely be far less noticeable.
